The Regional Task Force on Quality Workforce Housing was established and convened from February through December of 2005 to address the issues affecting the affordability and availability of workforce housing for at least the population of people earning between approximately $20,000 and $42,000 annually. These are the teachers, nurses, public service workers and many more that find it increasingly difficult to afford quality housing in the Metro Phoenix area and in the State of Arizona.
